About the IWC
The International Wine Challenge (IWC) is accepted as the world's finest and most meticulously judged wine competition which assesses every wine blind and judges each for its faithfulness to style, region and vintage. Throughout the rigorous judging processes, each medal-winning wine is tasted on three separate occasions by at least 11 different judges and awards include medals (Trophy, Gold, Silver, Bronze) and Commended and Great Value awards.

The IWC also organise the IWC Merchant Awards UK, which celebrate the most successful small and large retailers, agents, wholesalers and more, who deliver an outstanding service to wine consumers across the UK. The awards are based on top quality wines, but, most importantly, in this sector of the awards, of a commercially successful, viable, and proven business model.
